
Marketing Specialist/Graphic Designer
Jacksonville, FL-based Remote Contract Position
Sound Payments is seeking a full-time marketing specialist with graphic design experience to join its marketing team in Jacksonville, FL. This position allows for a marketing professional to work 30-40 hours per week for a dynamic technology company with flexibility. The candidate must reside in the Jacksonville area to assist with tradeshow prep from the company’s Jacksonville headquarters. We are looking for a motivated, creative thinker who always has a desire to learn and grow. This position requires skillsets in numerous aspects of the marketing mix and supports the administrative needs of the marketing department.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for administrative needs that helps ensure marketing success
- Helps monitor and keep up with task lists and calendars to ensure deadlines are met
- Ensures marketing expenses/advertising are paid on time
- Responsible for show prep related to shipments
- Helps support the administrative needs of recruitment advertising
- Work with partners, customers and industry contacts
- Assists with research, tracking and reporting results
- Content creation – gather and learn about solutions in order to support creating content
- Must communicate well and provide guidance to internal customers, vendors, and employees
- Managing all graphic design, videos and brand standards for the company
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
- Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule
- Adhere to creative direction for the company as well as brand guidelines
- Act as the gatekeeper of our brand standards, both internally and working with local offices ensuring all marketing creative is effective, engaging, and ultimately on brand
- Creating images for social media, email campaigns, advertising, website, etc. in a style and tone that conveys the brand
- Creating logos as needed
- Design print materials and work with print vendor to produce print materials
- Creating videos (preferred experience but not required if there is a willingness to learn)
- Designing and ordering business cards, signs, stickers and any other design-related materials the company needs
- Design and order tradeshow materials and displays as needed
- Designs for screens, reports, templates and other documents
- Assistance with other areas in marketing as needed

Required Experience
- Must have at least 2 years of design experience, combined with other areas of marketing or demonstrated ability to take on this role successfully
- Must be proficient in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator at a minimum)
- Video editing tools.
