The kiosks facilitate the selection of a parking spot and provide open loop electronic payments including mobile payments. The Kiosks can also support a two-way “call” function to request assistance from a central back office location.
The mobile application puts technology into the hands of the consumer and gives consumers the ability to control their own parking experience. The application geolocation services allows consumers to look for the nearest payment kiosk, scan a QR Code for easy spot identification, monitor paid parking in real-time, set alerts for time expiration and save a profile for easy payment next time.
Accessible from a PC, mobile device or tablet, the Cloud Portal enables rate set-up, equipment monitoring, minimum and maximum times, and data/analytics. The permission-based roles controls access levels and dashboards give viewers a quick view on kiosks that need maintenance, popular parking times, parking availability, transaction monitoring and reporting for trend analysis. Customer Service can use the portal to assist and validate consumer concerns.
The enforcement application geolocation feature is designed to allow municipalities to identify the areas with expired parking spots to better manage their time and increase revenue for the municipality.
