WHAT ATTRACTED YOU TO THE FINTECH INDUSTRY AND SOUND PAYMENTS?
I was seeking a position where I can bring my 20+ years of Industry experience as a value add to an organization. I’ve served many roles from Technical Field Implementations , Systems Integration Architecture, Project Management and Program Management of both site and enterprise application systems. Sound Payments has given me the opportunity to combine all of this experience and build a business around the best practice methodologies of each.
HOW DO YOU CREATE VALUE AND WHAT DO YOU ENJOY THE MOST?
I am driven to bring order to chaos and to build solid processes and procedures that enable a business to grow and scale and not overwhelm. My driving motto is to keep it simple, utilize the expertise of my teams and lead the ship in one direction so business can be executed efficiently and smoothly.
WHAT WOULD BE THE TOP TWO MOST INTERESTING PLACES YOU VISITED AND WHAT WAS THE MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT?
I am a big fan of mainland Europe. My wife, children and I actually refer to the Czech Republic as our second home. As to visiting anywhere there is history is exciting to me. Europe happens to have a deep root for us.
WHAT ARE YOUR TOP TWO FAVORITE BOOKS?
I don’t have a favorite book or books per say. I read a lot of technical articles and blogs rarely novels or large nonfictional stories. This said I’ve recently enjoyed the book “Execution: Discipline of Getting things Done” by Larry Bossidy & Ram Charan. For skills reading I tend to lean towards technology studies on Cloud and Web development and Security. For spiritual growth I enjoy books by CS Lewis.
