Bulk Pricing Reset Feature
Flexible Discount Management for C-Stores
Sound POS is excited to introduce the Bulk Pricing Reset feature as part of the latest C-store enhancements. This third phase of improvements gives merchants greater control over how bulk discounts are applied at checkout.
What is Bulk Pricing Reset?
This feature allows merchants to decide whether bulk discounts continue beyond the minimum quantity threshold or if additional items revert to the standard price. Customizable and flexible, it enables store owners to maximize profitability while offering competitive discounts to customers.
Standard Bulk Pricing:
Maintain discounts for all items once the minimum purchase threshold is met.
Bulk Pricing Reset:
Apply a discount only up to the set quantity and return additional items to regular pricing.
Examples
Wholesale Pricing:
A merchant offers a wholesale price on 5 six-packs or more. Once the customer meets the threshold, all additional six-packs are also discounted.
Two-for-One Specials:
A "Buy 2, Get 1 at 50% Off" deal applies a discount to the third item only. Any additional items beyond the initial two return to full price when bulk pricing reset is activated.
